Camilla Rose Synopsis
Camilla Rose is the sequel to Kenya Stemmons’s Golden Rose. The story opens with Golden pursuing her dream of being a fashion designer, when an anonymous email wreaks havoc in her life and reduces it to rubble. Golden retreats to her hometown when a stranger, Camilla, comes knocking, and claims to be her estranged sister. Camilla is looking for her own answers about their deceased father and thinks Golden is the only way to get her questions answered.
Lies, betrayal, and deceit all come to a head in this gritty urban-drama as Camilla uncovers her identity through her tenacity for the truth.

Kenya is an African-American woman, fiction-writer whose parents encouraged reading. Her grandmother introduced her to the public library where her love of books grew into reading all types of genres of literature. Her favorite genre is self-help non-fiction which ignited her tenacity to overcome any obstacle put in her way.
Kenya Stemmons is the author of Golden Rose, her urban fiction debut.
